Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Binjamin Schol got the match started through his kick off. SK Zevergem's Ernest Goos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save SK Zevergem from getting a goal against them. Karel-Jan Ronsman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Karel-Jan Ronsman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernest Goos. SK Zevergem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karel-Jan Ronsman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Binjamin Schol in the 15th minute of play forced Pervijze's goalkeeper Gert Matthieu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Karel-Jan Ronsman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pervijze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karel-Jan Ronsman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Mark Verhoeven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Zevergem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pervijze the free kick. The supporters of Pervijze booed when SK Zevergem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Verhoeven didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Depauw recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Zevergem's goalkeeper Ernest Goos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Emiel Lefevere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SK Zevergem's zone, Karel-Jan Ronsman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Goos came out of the goal and Karel-Jan Ronsman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, SK Zevergem's goalkeeper Ernest Goos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roger Depauw. 38 minutes into the match, Pervijze's goal looked a bit too open when Cederik De Custer came free, but Gert Matthieu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, SK Zevergem's goal looked a bit too open when Karel-Jan Ronsman came free, but Ernest Goos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenny Wils's late challenge caught a SK Zevergem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lenny Wils helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Pervijze got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Wils. Gert-Jan Van Bael's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gert Matthieu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Gert Matthieu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gert-Jan Van Bael went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roger Depauw made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Roger Depauw who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Zevergem's Ernest Goos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Karel-Jan Ronsman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rdth minute of the game Roger Depauw who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Zevergem's Ernest Goos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, SK Zevergem's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Depauw came free, but Ernest Goos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SK Zevergem getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Claus Andriesens hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Roger Depauw sped through SK Zevergem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernest Goos. Pervijze's Gert Matthieu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Moerman in the 77th minute of play. When Pervijze's Roger Depauw in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Zevergem's goalie prevented a goal. Roger Depauw struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ernest Goos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pervijze. After 86 played minutes SK Zevergem got a freekick which was hit by Cederik De Custer. Ernest Goos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Depauw's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Roger Depauw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute, Roger Depauw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pervijze were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
