A collision led to Cavalcanti Football Club getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Guust Nijs hit a great ball. Lennart Van Bouschot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthis Goosens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Dassenaarde's zone, Joonatan Roscams stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Verbruggen came out of the goal and Joonatan Roscams tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charles Verbruggen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joonatan Roscams in the 27th minute of play. If Matthis Goosens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cavalcanti Football Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Jannis Dirickx scored to the left of an out of position Lennart Van Bouschot, making the score, 1-0. The Dassenaarde fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Dassenaarde's Jannis Dirickx looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Greg Vervoort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Verbruggen having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthis Goosens to strike the kick off in the second half. Ignace Englebert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Guust Nijs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, Guy Goffyn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cavalcanti Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dassenaarde the free kick. The supporters of Dassenaarde booed when Cavalcanti Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guy Goffyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lennart Van Bouschot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthis Goosens's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Charles Verbruggen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greg Vervoort, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Romain Huijghens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dassenaarde's Matthis Goosens in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cavalcanti Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. Jannis Dirickx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Greg Vervoort managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavalcanti Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Greg Vervoort was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Verbruggen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cavalcanti Football Club's zone, Lennart Declerck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennart Van Bouschot came out of the goal and Lennart Declerck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jannis Dirickx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lennart Van Bouschot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romain Huijghens, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Joonatan Roscams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Charles Verbruggen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd of the match, Greg Vervoort tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Charles Verbruggen got in the way and made a wonderful save. Dassenaarde's Charles Verbruggen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Dassenaarde from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute, Dassenaarde's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joonatan Roscams fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee ended the match the Dassenaarde players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
