After having played for 13 minutes, Marc Herremans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vielsalm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Herremans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frits Vissenaeken in the 19th minute of play forced Mo Town's goalkeeper Jim Van Beringen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillaume De Clerk hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Jim Van Beringen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frits Vissenaeken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dyllan Van Der Eyde kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The audience cheered when Jamie Verdonck's long shot passed Jim Van Beringen's right side. It was 0-2, 26 minutes into the match. Jim Van Beringen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frits Vissenaeken in the 34th minute of play. Frits Vissenaeken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-3 became the score in the 42nd minute when Marc Herremans elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Vielsalm's Marc Herremans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jim Van Beringen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Mo Town players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vielsalm were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Henri-Xavier Van Cleynenbreugel made the kick off in the second half. Jim Van Beringen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 51st minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. If Marc Herremans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mo Town's Dyllan Van Der Eyde got a free kick in the 57th minute. Marc Herremans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mo Town's Jim Van Beringen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Mo Town from getting a goal against them. If Frits Vissenaeken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69thth minute of the game Frits Vissenaeken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mo Town's Jim Van Beringen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Vielsalm's Marc Herremans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jim Van Beringen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 82nd minute, Henri-Xavier Van Cleynenbreugel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mo Town fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. A collision led to Vielsalm getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. When the match was over Vielsalm could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mo Town throughout the match.
