After a defensive mix-up in FoRzA WijGmAaL's zone, Frits Vissenaeken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yannis van der Eycken came out of the goal and Frits Vissenaeken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marc Herremans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yannis van der Eycken having to interfere. Yannis van der Eycken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frits Vissenaeken's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Bryan Uytdebroeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter-Jan Van Acker having to interfere. After 38 minutes of play, Vielsalm's Frits Vissenaeken made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yannis van der Eycken was left in no man's land by his defense there! The FoRzA WijGmAaL players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vielsalm were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frits Vissenaeken to make the kick off. Yannis van der Eycken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frits Vissenaeken in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frits Vissenaeken in the 60th minute of play forced FoRzA WijGmAaL's goalkeeper Yannis van der Eycken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Frits Vissenaeken kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yannis van der Eycken. That made the score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. In the 87th match minute, FoRzA WijGmAaL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philippe Grootjans to maneuver through the defense. In the 89thth minute of the game Frits Vissenaeken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FoRzA WijGmAaL's Yannis van der Eycken was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Marc Herremans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
