Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Albert Shamp got the match started through his kick off. When Albert Shamp came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Woef Woef fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Shamp couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Anderlecht's zone, Albert Shamp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jozef Theys came out of the goal and Albert Shamp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute Albert Shamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozef Theys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Woef Woef booed when Anderlecht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Mesmaekers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Dewolf kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Jozef Theys was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albert Shamp showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. If Ivan Lanphant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Woef Woef getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Philippe Anthonis hit a great ball. Jannick Gobelijns came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Anderlecht's Ivan Lanphant. But to his dismay, Ivan Lanphant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, Anderlecht's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Shamp came free, but Jozef Theys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jozef Theys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Shamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Lanphant stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jozef Theys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Shamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Kurt Van Den Brande kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Yoachim Van Brussel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woef Woef's supporters rose to their feet, but Yoachim Van Brussel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jozef Theys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Adolf Rondas fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anderlecht's protests and gave Adolf Rondas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Anderlecht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolf Rondas to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Gillis Stuyck in the 63rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jozef Theys's left hand side. Olivier Van Haerschot struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jozef Theys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woef Woef. The Woef Woef fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Woef Woef's Albert Shamp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 81st minute, Adolf Rondas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurt Van Den Brande hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes Anderlecht got a freekick which was hit by Maurus van Hacht. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yoachim Van Brussel during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yoachim Van Brussel hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, Maurus van Hacht threw the ball into play from the sideline. Woef Woef's Guilian Beckers quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 93 minutes into the match, Woef Woef's Yoachim Van Brussel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jozef Theys narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Woef Woef fully deserved thier win.
