Abel Van der Veeren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eralp Zati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eralp Zati struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Sergio De Malier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Dinosaurs. In the 11th minute, Eralp Zati got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Casper Vercauteren managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Dinosaurs's supporters rose to their feet, but Casper Vercauteren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio De Malier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, KSV Brecht's Abel Van der Veeren got a free kick in the 20th minute. Rocky De Vreese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickael Loos, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Casper Vercauteren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Dinosaurs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casper Vercauteren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eralp Zati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio De Malier having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Jacque Stas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rocky De Vreese was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eralp Zati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fred Vogels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half KSV Brecht were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eralp Zati made the kick off in the second half. Leopold Govaerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, KSV Brecht's goal looked a bit too open when Eralp Zati came free, but Sergio De Malier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mickael Loos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Rocky De Vreese made a huge save. Eralp Zati missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 63 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Sergio De Malier right hand side. If Casper Vercauteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goffrey de Cijser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casper Vercauteren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio De Malier having to interfere. Willem-Jan Jannes fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 94th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. KSV Brecht were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over The Dinosaurs's much stronger midfield.
