After having played for 7 minutes, Yannik Van Eersel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aiseau-Presles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yannik Van Eersel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douglas Van Lueven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yannik Van Eersel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas Van Lueven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yannik Van Eersel in the 10th minute of play. Fernand Iwens charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernand Iwens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Fernand Iwens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Aiseau-Presles's Brecht De kaiser broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yannik Van Eersel in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Van Lueven saved KFC Waarebeek from getting behind. Corneel Schollens charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Corneel Schollens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thibau Soens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Yannik Van Eersel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Van Lueven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carel Maertens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Douglas Van Lueven having to make a save. In the 24th minute, Dimitri Thielens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Aiseau-Presles's Yannik Van Eersel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglas Van Lueven narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 28 minutes of play Aiseau-Presles's Corneel Schollens was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Aiseau-Presles's Corneel Schollens got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes, KFC Waarebeek's Nic Klaes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tijs Frederickx came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KFC Waarebeek reached it. 31 minutes into the match, Aiseau-Presles's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Rummens came free, but Tijs Frederickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carel Maertens struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Douglas Van Lueven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aiseau-Presles. Douglas Van Lueven didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carel Maertens went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Thibau Soens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joachim Rummens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tijs Frederickx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joachim Rummens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yannik Van Eersel in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Van Lueven saved KFC Waarebeek from getting behind. The referee showed Dimitri Thielens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 57 minutes into the game, Aiseau-Presles's Carel Maertens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Douglas Van Lueven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Carel Maertens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carel Maertens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Carel Maertens came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Aiseau-Presles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carel Maertens couldn't finish the play. Carel Maertens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Douglas Van Lueven read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Yannik Van Eersel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aiseau-Presles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yannik Van Eersel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carel Maertens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carel Maertens got free with Douglas Van Lueven in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 82 minutes of play, Aiseau-Presles's Carel Maertens made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Van Lueven was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erik Coryn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dirk Ingelborghs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Douglas Van Lueven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Yannik Van Eersel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aiseau-Presles's supporters rose to their feet, but Yannik Van Eersel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Van Lueven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aiseau-Presles played a much better game than KFC Waarebeek and deserved their victory. The KFC Waarebeek players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
