Tijs Frederickx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in The Dinosaurs's zone, Yannik Van Eersel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rocky De Vreese came out of the goal and Yannik Van Eersel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casper Vercauteren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tijs Frederickx having to make a save. After the first half The Dinosaurs were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yannik Van Eersel to strike the kick off in the second half. Tijs Frederickx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eralp Zati in the 51st minute. Casper Vercauteren struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Tijs Frederickx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Dinosaurs. In the 64th minute Casper Vercauteren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tijs Frederickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Casper Vercauteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Aiseau-Presles's Corneel Schollens got a free kick in the 71st minute. The Aiseau-Presles fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. The Dinosaurs were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
