Sergio De Malier came out of the goal and Kasper Weygaers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marten Van Boeckost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Moortebeek getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Tommie Heirremans hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Marten Van Boeckost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mickael Loos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Moortebeek getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marten Van Boeckost hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staf Bellinkx in the 23rd minute of play forced KSV Brecht's goalkeeper Sergio De Malier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasper Weygaers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 minutes, Mickael Loos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Moortebeek's Robby Dekkers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Robby Dekkers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mickael Loos in the 32nd minute of the match. Robby Dekkers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mickael Loos's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. A collision led to Moortebeek getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Staf Bellinkx hit a great ball. Gery Verheecke hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Moortebeek's Philipp Laureys broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, KSV Brecht's Gery Verheecke got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 47th match minute, KSV Brecht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luuk Verbeeck to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Philipp Laureys in the 47th minute really tested Sergio De Malier's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Kasper Weygaers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio De Malier having to interfere. Jacque Stas hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the game, Moortebeek's Kasper Weygaers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergio De Malier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 65th minute of the match Theo De Keijser sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio De Malier skillfully saved the ball. Robby Dekkers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mickael Loos in the 76th minute of play. If Staf Bellinkx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Mickael Loos made a precise shot to the right of Robby Dekkers. Moortebeek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Mickael Loos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KSV Brecht had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
