Staf Bellinkx hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Joachim Rummens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robby Dekkers having to interfere. In the 9th minute, KFC Waarebeek's Joachim Rummens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robby Dekkers. Robby Dekkers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. KFC Waarebeek's Joachim Rummens got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Moortebeek getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Marten Van Boeckost hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Joachim Rummens managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Waarebeek's supporters rose to their feet, but Joachim Rummens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robby Dekkers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Staf Bellinkx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to KFC Waarebeek getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dimitri Thielens hit a great ball. Thibau Soens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luckas Cox hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Staf Bellinkx in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Van Lueven saved KFC Waarebeek from getting behind. Douglas Van Lueven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luckas Cox in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Kasper Weygaers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moortebeek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kasper Weygaers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Staf Bellinkx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Moortebeek's Kasper Weygaers in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Waarebeek's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marten Van Boeckost during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KFC Waarebeek booed when Moortebeek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marten Van Boeckost didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joachim Rummens in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robby Dekkers saved Moortebeek from getting behind.

The wind increased when Joachim Rummens made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Kasper Weygaers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douglas Van Lueven was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience was convinced that Thibau Soens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robby Dekkers was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Thibau Soens struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Robby Dekkers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Waarebeek. In the 68th match minute, Moortebeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasper Weygaers to maneuver through the defense. If Joachim Rummens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robby Dekkers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Rummens in the 72nd minute of play. Robby Dekkers came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Waarebeek's Joachim Rummens. But to his dismay, Joachim Rummens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 79th minute, Staf Bellinkx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Moortebeek's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Rummens came free, but Robby Dekkers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luckas Cox struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Douglas Van Lueven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moortebeek. Staf Bellinkx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Van Lueven having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, KFC Waarebeek's Thibau Soens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robby Dekkers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Moortebeek's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
