An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieterjan Schooters in the 22nd minute of play forced Olsa Brakel's goalkeeper Gwenn Walters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Guido van Haghten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adolphe Maerschalk. Zemst's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido van Haghten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Romain Rondas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolphe Maerschalk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romain Rondas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th match minute, Zemst was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeoffrey Lefebre to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Zemst getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Brecht De Messemaecker hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Guido van Haghten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olsa Brakel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 45 minutes, Frank Uytdebroeck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olsa Brakel and the Zemst players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Dean Klijnhens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zemst's supporters rose to their feet, but Dean Klijnhens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwenn Walters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The referee showed Pieterjan Schooters the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. But to his dismay, Romain Rondas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Adolphe Maerschalk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romain Rondas in the 68th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Ronsman during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zemst getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Michel Ronsman hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute Pieterjan Schooters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwenn Walters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dean Klijnhens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Gwenn Walters made a huge save. If Romain Rondas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romain Rondas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolphe Maerschalk having to interfere. Lorenz De Kock scored 4-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolphe Maerschalk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Olsa Brakel's Lorenz De Kock got a free kick in the 88th minute. Adolphe Maerschalk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romain Rondas, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Brecht De Messemaecker's late challenge caught a Olsa Brakel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brecht De Messemaecker helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Zemst was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brecht De Messemaecker to maneuver through the defense.
