Norbert Stercks charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Ruttens couldn't finish the play. Arthur Ruttens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremie Van Kestbeek having to interfere. Jeremie Van Kestbeek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Ruttens in the 19th minute of the match. KAA Beringen's Jeremie Van Kestbeek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Ruttens in the 20th minute of play. Nicky De Mijer kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as KFC L's Arthur Ruttens slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jeremie Van Kestbeek. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. Cedrik Van Hinnendael came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by KAA Beringen's Stan Van Gijsel. But to his dismay, Stan Van Gijsel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Norbert Stercks kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Stan Van Gijsel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cedrik Van Hinnendael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KFC L's Cedrik Van Hinnendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stan Van Gijsel in the 44th minute of play. Jeremie Van Kestbeek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeremie Van Kestbeek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Coeckelberghs, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Stan Van Gijsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cedrik Van Hinnendael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louis Verdonk's late challenge caught a KAA Beringen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Louis Verdonk helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KFC L getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Louis Verdonk hit a great ball. Jeremie Van Kestbeek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Ruttens, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Stan Van Gijsel might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cedrik Van Hinnendael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stan Van Gijsel ran back to his position shaking his head. 92 minutes into the match, KFC L's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Van den Sande came free, but Cedrik Van Hinnendael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Louis Verdonk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
