Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pierre-Olivier Pelsers kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Henderickx in the 5th minute of play forced Kasterlee's goalkeeper Jerom Swin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sint-Jans-Molenbeek booed when Kasterlee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron De Graef didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Sint-Jans-Molenbeek's Rik Engels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerom Swin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kasterlee's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Simon Henderickx scored to the left of an out of position Jerom Swin, making the score, 1-0. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kasterlee's goalkeeper Jerom Swin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With splendid footwork Simon Henderickx arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 18th minute. Rik Engels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerom Swin having to interfere. After 25 minutes of play, Sint-Jans-Molenbeek's Rik Engels made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerom Swin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 played minutes Kasterlee got a freekick which was hit by Pierre-Olivier Pelsers. After having played for 31 minutes, Simon Henderickx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sint-Jans-Molenbeek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Henderickx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerom Swin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Henderickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Jerom Swin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Henderickx in the 35th minute of play. Simon Henderickx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jerom Swin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Henderickx in the 41st minute of the match. Simon Henderickx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rik Engels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Jerom Swin made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Henderickx was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artuur Reynaerts in the 53rd minute of play forced Kasterlee's goalkeeper Jerom Swin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerom Swin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Henderickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Kasterlee's Jerom Swin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rik Engels in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rik Engels in the 65th minute of play forced Kasterlee's goalkeeper Jerom Swin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes, Simon Henderickx made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kasterlee's Jerom Swin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rik Engels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jerom Swin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Rik Engels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerom Swin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Rik Engels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerom Swin having to interfere. Simon Henderickx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Simon Henderickx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rik Engels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Sint-Jans-Molenbeek's Simon Henderickx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerom Swin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 95th minute, Simon Henderickx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kasterlee's Jerom Swin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rik Engels in the 97th minute of play.
