Amel's Gilles Ingelborgh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Amel from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timmy De Groot in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quillian Nys prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quillian Nys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy De Groot in the 29th minute of play. Binjamin Wolput sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timmy De Groot in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quillian Nys saved TeamBE from getting behind. Gilles Ingelborgh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sander Van hoeijveld in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, TeamBE's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy De Groot came free, but Quillian Nys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinard Weynants fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quillian Nys having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Timmy De Groot made the kick off in the second half. Quillian Nys was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Timmy De Groot capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Timmy De Groot really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Reinard Weynants fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quillian Nys having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Sander Van hoeijveld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th match minute, Amel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles-Antoine Vrolijcx to maneuver through the defense. After 88 played minutes, TeamBE's Louis-Philippe Gillekens shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilles Ingelborgh came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TeamBE reached it. In the 92nd minute Timmy De Groot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quillian Nys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timmy De Groot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quillian Nys having to interfere. Amel's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
