Spectators: 7565 (Terracing: 5675, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Angelo Huveneers got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris-George Anthonis in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Zalmen's goalkeeper Bobby Meulders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Angelo Huveneers managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zalmen's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Huveneers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsene Driesen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsene Driesen was a little too slow when Angelo Huveneers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, FC Zalmen's Francois Hosselaer got a free kick in the 11th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Chris-George Anthonis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bainkes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris-George Anthonis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christoff Servrancx took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bobby Meulders. Bobby Meulders dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Bainkes's Hans Emeleers got a free kick in the 23rd minute. FC Zalmen's Jordi Roekeloos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bainkes. If Angelo Huveneers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28thth minute of the game Angelo Huveneers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bainkes's Arsene Driesen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arsene Driesen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Huveneers, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bainkes's goalkeeper Arsene Driesen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute of the match, Stefan van der Eycken got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arsene Driesen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bainkes's Arsene Driesen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Bainkes from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christoff Servrancx to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Stefan van der Eycken notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Bainkes's Arsene Driesen. Arsene Driesen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Stefan van der Eycken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, one of Bainkes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 63 minutes, Stefan van der Eycken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Zalmen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan van der Eycken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bobby Meulders made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Chris-George Anthonis sent off a good shot on target. Christoff Servrancx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Meulders having to interfere. Angelo Huveneers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Arsene Driesen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Angelo Huveneers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st match minute, Bainkes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoff Servrancx to maneuver through the defense. In the 82ndth minute of the game Stefan van der Eycken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bainkes's Arsene Driesen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Stefan van der Eycken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsene Driesen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Huveneers in the 90th minute of play. When Hans Emeleers fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bainkes's protests and gave Hans Emeleers a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes Bainkes got a freekick which was hit by Hans Emeleers. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Stefan van der Eycken managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zalmen's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan van der Eycken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
