The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Jorre de Pelsmaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. Thomas-Jan Delen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacq Van Gorp in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Luka United's Matias De Worteler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric de la Croix narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antonio Wuets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Luka United! Thomas Voets shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Pierre-Paul Baboeuf kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Matias De Wortelers short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Eric de la Croix to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 29 minutes, Antonio Wuets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luka United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Wuets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Antonio Wuets who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sautour's Eric de la Croix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Luka United's Antonio Wuets in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sautour's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacq Van Gorp in the 41st managed to get into a good position. Jacq Van Gorp might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas-Jan Delen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacq Van Gorp ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacq Van Gorp to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacq Van Gorp in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas-Jan Delen saved Luka United from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Sautour's Pierre-Paul Baboeuf got a free kick in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sautour's zone, Matias De Worteler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric de la Croix came out of the goal and Matias De Worteler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martial Wellens during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Sautour got a freekick which was hit by Martial Wellens. Eric de la Croix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Wuets in the 72nd minute of the match. When Antonio Wuets came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Luka United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Wuets couldn't finish the play. Eric de la Croix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Wuets went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 84 minutes of play, Luka United's Antonio Wuets made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric de la Croix was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sautour's Eric de la Croix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Wuets in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Andries Van Linthaudt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luka United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sautour the free kick. After a rather tough play, Luka United's Andries Van Linthaudt got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Jacq Van Gorp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacq Van Gorp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Jacq Van Gorp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thomas-Jan Delen, 2-2.
