After having played for 47 minutes, Matias De Worteler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luka United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias De Worteler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Luka United booed when FC Zalmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sander Marrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas-Jan Delen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan van der Eycken's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 93 minutes into the match, FC Zalmen's goalkeeper Bobby Meulders had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias De Worteler. After 94 minutes, Laurens Wuttemans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Zalmen and the Luka United players grew even worse after the yellow card.
