GESHAA got a freekick which was hit by Giles Volens. A collision led to FMM getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jasper Voorhof hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Simons in the 12th minute of play forced S.V. GESHAA's goalkeeper Dimitri Martin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, S.V. GESHAA's Johannes Engelbert got a free kick in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jasper Voorhof got free with Dimitri Martin in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dimitri Martin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Simons in the 15th minute of the match. Jasper Voorhof received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dimitri Martin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Rolf Simons who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.V. GESHAA's Dimitri Martin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Timothy Cooreman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Stephan Theuniers made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Harold Verbruggen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dimitri Martin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Simons in the 54th minute of the match. Stephan Theuniers charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Dimitri Martin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jasper Voorhof's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, one of FMM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FMM. S.V. GESHAAs' Jordi Van Boeckost made a terrific save as he just managed to stop Rajmond Van Den Wijngaerts penalty just before it crossed the line at his left post. A nice corner shot did that Rajmond Van Den Wijngaert got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jordi Van Boeckost quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Stephan Theuniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
