Dylan Van den Berchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tjorven Koten took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeffery Valkeneers. Jeffery Valkeneers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 29th minute Sebastian Weynants shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philippe Van den Berch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philippe Van den Berch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Weynants in the 30th minute of play. Gert Van den Wyngaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Van den Berch having to interfere. After 33 minutes of play Wakkerzeel's Ben Sannen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of KFC Stavelot booed when Wakkerzeel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Sannen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dylan Van den Berchen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Jeffery Valkeneers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jeffery Valkeneers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Van den Berchen, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dylan Van den Berchen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
