Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stephan Theuniers started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Sebastian Weynants could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Dimitri Martin however easily saved by the left post. Dimitri Martin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Van den Wyngaert in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Sebastian Weynants dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dimitri Martin, 1-0. Sebastian Weynants sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stephan Theuniers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Stephan Theuniers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeffery Valkeneers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, S.V. GESHAA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sebastian Weynants fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Sebastian Weynants had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dimitri Martin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Van den Wyngaert in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Gert Van den Wyngaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wakkerzeel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Van den Wyngaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timothy Cooreman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes of play, S.V. GESHAA's Giles Volens made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeffery Valkeneers was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, S.V. GESHAA's Dimitri Martin got control of the ball when Sebastian Weynants tried to sneak it across the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gert Van den Wyngaert to make the kick off. Sebastian Weynants recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Etienne Gysens kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jeffery Valkeneers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Theuniers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeffery Valkeneers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Theuniers, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Stephan Theuniers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jeffery Valkeneers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as S.V. GESHAA's Stephan Theuniers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jeffery Valkeneers. That made the score 1-2 after 65 minutes of play. After 77 minutes of play, Wakkerzeel's Sebastian Weynants made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitri Martin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the game, Johannes Engelbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.V. GESHAA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wakkerzeel the free kick. The supporters of Wakkerzeel booed when S.V. GESHAA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Engelbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimitri Martin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Weynants, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kobe Sterckx hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Thibau Deckers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dimitri Martin. S.V. GESHAA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The S.V. GESHAA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
