Frederic De Vlaeminck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorre Dujardin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to KFC Eendracht Zelem getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Corneel Ramps hit a great ball. Jullian Van Hinnendael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Frederic De Vlaeminck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Eendracht Zelem's zone, Kasper Braeckman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederic De Vlaeminck came out of the goal and Kasper Braeckman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jullian Van Hinnendael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederic De Vlaeminck having to interfere. Tommy Maerschalckx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthew Peters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Kasper Braeckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jullian Van Hinnendael's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Frederic De Vlaeminck skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. AFC Schoonbroek's Kasper Braeckman got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jullian Van Hinnendael in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frederic De Vlaeminck, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauren Goovaers in the 48th minute of play forced KFC Eendracht Zelem's goalkeeper Frederic De Vlaeminck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Jorre Dujardin might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederic De Vlaeminck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorre Dujardin ran back to his position shaking his head. Lauren Goovaers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Georges De Boeck charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Georges De Boeck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of AFC Schoonbroek:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KFC Eendracht Zelem:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kasper Braeckman in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederic De Vlaeminck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 minutes of play, AFC Schoonbroek's Jorre Dujardin made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederic De Vlaeminck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kasper Braeckman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corneel Ramps charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Corneel Ramps the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Kasper Braeckman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederic De Vlaeminck was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Braeckman in the 95th minute of play forced KFC Eendracht Zelem's goalkeeper Frederic De Vlaeminck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of KFC Eendracht Zelem were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant AFC Schoonbroek side.
