Spectators: 7368 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 24) GANG GANG's Sam Wegers started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. GANG GANG's Dan Walters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Olivier Ingelbert in the 3rd minute of play. Dan Walters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Olivier Ingelbert in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gillis De Weijngaert in the 17th minute of play forced GANG GANG's goalkeeper Dan Walters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Annekenshoek's Thibau Beeckmans got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Tomas Van Goethem came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by GANG GANG's Norbert De Raeve. But to his dismay, Norbert De Raeve quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 32 minutes into the game, Norbert De Raeve cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tomas Van Goethem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Sam Wegers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Walters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Klaes in the 43rd minute of play. Sam Wegers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tomas Van Goethem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Stef Verhaegen made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Mathijs De Ketelaere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GANG GANG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Annekenshoek the free kick. In the 57th match minute, GANG GANG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijs De Ketelaere to maneuver through the defense. Thibau Beeckmans shot from long distance in the 64th minute, but Dan Walters was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Dirk Klaes struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Dan Walters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Annekenshoek. In the 73rd minute, Pierre-Olivier Ingelbert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dan Walters. The goal made the score 2-1. With an all-out effort, Annekenshoek's Dan Walters threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dirk Klaes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dries Swartenbroekx during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, GANG GANG's Dries Swartenbroekx got a free kick in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Klaes in the 84th minute of play forced GANG GANG's goalkeeper Dan Walters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, GANG GANG's Dan Walters got control of the ball when Tijs Moreau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Annekenshoek's Tijs Moreau suffered a fractured collar bone after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 93 minutes, Luk Panhuyse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GANG GANG and the Annekenshoek players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luk Panhuyse kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sam Wegers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Van Goethem was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The GANG GANG players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
