In the 37th minute Sam Wegers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Swinnen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bram Dejardin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dan Walters made a huge save. GANG GANG's Dan Walters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save GANG GANG from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Timmy Van Linthaut made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, one of GANG GANG:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Baaigem a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benny Gobeleyns, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GANG GANG's Dan Walters. 1-0. Dan Walters didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timmy Van Linthaut went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Jo Swinnen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sam Wegers's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Sam Wegers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benny Gobeleyns kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The supporters of Baaigem booed when GANG GANG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijs De Ketelaere didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timmy Van Linthaut struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Dan Walters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baaigem.
