KFC Hoeilaart's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bergerhout the free kick. Janes Horemans hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. KFC Hoeilaart were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Bergerhout's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Charly Van Severen took the corner. Jarno De Backer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georges-Philippe Wigers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georges-Philippe Wigers in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarno De Backer saved KFC Hoeilaart from getting behind. Bernard Mampaerts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sylvan Coenen in the 14th minute. Sylvan Coenen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Bernard Mampaerts skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to KFC Hoeilaart getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Philipp De Moor hit a great ball. Sylvan Coenen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sylvan Coenen struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Bernard Mampaerts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Hoeilaart. 42 minutes into the match, Bergerhout's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Simon Laermans came free, but Bernard Mampaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the KFC Hoeilaart defense, Georges-Philippe Wigers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarno De Backer. The KFC Hoeilaart fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarno De Backer should have stopped the shot. Georges-Philippe Wigers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jarno De Backer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The KFC Hoeilaart players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bergerhout were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Georges-Philippe Wigers made the kick off in the second half. Jan-Simon Laermans took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernard Mampaerts. Bernard Mampaerts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Bernt De Kelper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bergerhout's Bernard Mampaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylvan Coenen in the 87th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Georges-Philippe Wigers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jarno De Backer. That made the score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bergerhout walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
