Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Matthew Peters was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Yannis Smekens. Matthew Peters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stef Verhaegen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Van Goethem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasper Braeckman in the 13th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Jorre Dujardin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierre-Olivier Ingelbert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Matthew Peters made a huge save. Annekenshoek's Tomas Van Goethem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Braeckman in the 27th minute of play. Kasper Braeckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tomas Van Goethem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Kasper Braeckman sped through Annekenshoek's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomas Van Goethem. Annekenshoek's Stef Verhaegen got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kasper Braeckman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthew Peters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stef Verhaegen in the 50th minute of play.
When AFC Schoonbroek's Kasper Braeckman in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Annekenshoek's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Stef Verhaegen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Annekenshoek's supporters rose to their feet, but Stef Verhaegen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthew Peters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The attack was good, but when Kasper Braeckman in the 76th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jorre Dujardin hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Lauren Goovaers struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Tomas Van Goethem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Schoonbroek. Matthew Peters made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.
