With his leg Tommie Lannoye managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when ilL xUllUx's Thys De Marrez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Karlossi's Tommie Lannoye proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Karlossi from getting a goal against them. Mattias Reijdams's late challenge caught a Karlossi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattias Reijdams helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Nestor Van De Putts made a precise shot to the right of Jerry Jonckers. ilL xUllUx's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee ignored ilL xUllUx's protests and gave Henry Hendricks a yellow card for diving instead. Joel Sielens hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Wouter Cornelis might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerry Jonckers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wouter Cornelis ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the match, Jeff Deferme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommie Lannoye. Karlossi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeff Deferme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thys De Marrez in the 84th minute of play forced Karlossi's goalkeeper Tommie Lannoye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Hofnagels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Jonckers having to interfere.
