The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 25th match minute, Kemzeke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Geijselinx to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Kemzeke's zone, Wouter Cornelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Van Der Veecken came out of the goal and Wouter Cornelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th match minute, Kemzeke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alphonse Jenken to maneuver through the defense. Wouter Cornelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cederic Van Goethem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bob Geijselinx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Cederic Van Goethem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommie Lannoye was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Isaac Van Der Veecken was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joel Sielens. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cederic Van Goethem to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Kemzeke's Bob Geijselinx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 64th minute, Cederic Van Goethem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Karlossi's goalkeeper Tommie Lannoye had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bob Geijselinx. With his leg Tommie Lannoye managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Kemzeke's Bob Geijselinx fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 70th minute Cederic Van Goethem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Lannoye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cederic Van Goethem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Kemzeke got a freekick which was hit by Sebbe Weygaers. In the 76th minute of the match Denis Suetens shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaac Van Der Veecken showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kemzeke's Isaac Van Der Veecken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Van De Putts in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kemzeke's Matthieu Voet got a free kick in the 77th minute. Tommie Lannoye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cederic Van Goethem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, Karlossi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Suetens to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Kemzeke's Sebbe Weygaers tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 92ndth minute of the game Cederic Van Goethem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karlossi's Tommie Lannoye was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Karlossi's goal looked a bit too open when Cederic Van Goethem came free, but Tommie Lannoye reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Kemzeke could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Karlossi throughout the match.
