After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Matthias De Vaddere managed to get in a good position for a shot. •Fç•'s supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias De Vaddere was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacq Slegers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaetan Acke in the 13th minute of play forced •Fç•'s goalkeeper Jurgen De Hond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaetan Acke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jurgen De Hond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacq Slegers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias De Vaddere in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wauveringen's zone, Bryan Van Der Linden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacq Slegers came out of the goal and Bryan Van Der Linden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mathias-Alexander Degraef scored 1-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jurgen De Hond, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaetan Acke in the 38th minute of play forced •Fç•'s goalkeeper Jurgen De Hond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jurgen De Hond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaetan Acke in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, •Fç•'s goalkeeper Jurgen De Hond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias-Alexander Degraef. Jurgen De Hond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaetan Acke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glenn Jonckheere kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
