Yves Daems charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yves Daems the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yves Daems hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. SIDEMEN FC's Goffrey Van Der Straeten managed to work through Club Gozee's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Goffrey Van Der Straeten dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 14 minutes into the match, SIDEMEN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Loui De Middeleer came free, but Joris Andriesens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Joery Ingelborgh made a precise shot to the right of Joris Andriesens. SIDEMEN FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Club Gozee's Qwinten Van Caels proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Club Gozee from getting a goal against them. Axell vrolix was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Goffrey Van Der Straeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goffrey Van Der Straeten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Qwinten Van Caels skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A well placed Goffrey Van Der Straeten short distance shot in the 37th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amaury Schooters during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SIDEMEN FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Amaury Schooters hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Joop Van Leemputte suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Terry Mesmaeckers's late challenge caught a Club Gozee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Terry Mesmaeckers helped the player get up and apologised. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd match minute, SIDEMEN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yves Daems to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willem-Alexander Heijligen during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Willem-Alexander Heijligen hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Goffrey Van Der Straeten managed to get in a good position for a shot. SIDEMEN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Goffrey Van Der Straeten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Qwinten Van Caels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Axell vrolix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qwinten Van Caels read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Goffrey Van Der Straeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of SIDEMEN FC booed when Club Gozee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willem-Alexander Heijligen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes, Soren Robin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SIDEMEN FC and the Club Gozee players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes SIDEMEN FC got a freekick which was hit by Soren Robin. In the 76th minute, Loui De Middeleer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Qwinten Van Caels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goffrey Van Der Straeten in the 78th minute of the match. Qwinten Van Caels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goffrey Van Der Straeten in the 84th minute of play. Qwinten Van Caels came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by SIDEMEN FC's Amaury Schooters. But to his dismay, Amaury Schooters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Axell vrolix took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Qwinten Van Caels. Qwinten Van Caels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Qwinten Van Caels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goffrey Van Der Straeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
