Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SIDEMEN FC's Axell vrolix started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Yves Daems fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SIDEMEN FC's protests and gave Yves Daems a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute of the match Tristan Moerman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joris Andriesens skillfully saved the ball. Jacq Slegers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axell vrolix's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. If Axell vrolix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Adam Van Herck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Van den Haute took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacq Slegers. Wauveringen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Wauveringen's zone, Axell vrolix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacq Slegers came out of the goal and Axell vrolix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Goffrey Van Der Straeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes of play SIDEMEN FC's Yves Daems was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 27 played minutes SIDEMEN FC got a freekick which was hit by Yves Daems. In the 31st minute, Goffrey Van Der Straeten made a precise shot to the right of Jacq Slegers. Wauveringen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Goffrey Van Der Straeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jacq Slegers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacq Slegers made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Goffrey Van Der Straeten sent off a good shot on target. Amaury Schooters might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacq Slegers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amaury Schooters ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaetan Acke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Joris Andriesens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Jacq Slegers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goffrey Van Der Straeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes Wauveringen got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Van Der Heijden. Goffrey Van Der Straeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Soren Robin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Adam Van Herck got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 59 played minutes, SIDEMEN FC's Tobias Van den Haute shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacq Slegers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SIDEMEN FC reached it. Goffrey Van Der Straeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacq Slegers having to interfere. Goffrey Van Der Straeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Stroobant struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jacq Slegers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SIDEMEN FC. Goffrey Van Der Straeten struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Mathias-Alexander Degraef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Goffrey Van Der Straeten scored 2-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacq Slegers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Goffrey Van Der Straeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacq Slegers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goffrey Van Der Straeten in the 86th minute of the match. Axell vrolix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jacq Slegers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Goffrey Van Der Straeten in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacq Slegers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute Axell vrolix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacq Slegers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SIDEMEN FC fully deserved thier win.
