Spectators: 6598 (Terracing: 5598, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) RSC anderlecht's Renaut de la Croix started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Renaut de la Croix took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guilian Van Aghten. Guilian Van Aghten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Renaut de la Croix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Guilian Van Aghten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guilian Van Aghten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Kempenaerts in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Renaut de la Croix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilian Van Aghten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Renaut de la Croix put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Guilian Van Aghten. 18 minutes into the game, Fred Van Brussel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RSC anderlecht's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KSV Surdac the free kick. Gilbert Kempenaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Gilbert Kempenaerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KSV Surdac's Guilian Van Aghten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guilian Van Aghten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilbert Kempenaerts went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute Gilbert Kempenaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilian Van Aghten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renaut de la Croix in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guilian Van Aghten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, KSV Surdac's Frans De Coster got a free kick in the 47th minute.

KSV Surdac's Guilian Van Aghten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renaut de la Croix in the 51st minute of play. Renaut de la Croix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guilian Van Aghten was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Renaut de la Croix capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Renaut de la Croix really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 61st minute, Gilbert Kempenaerts had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 62 minutes into the game, Daan Huyghens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KSV Surdac's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RSC anderlecht the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, KSV Surdac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daan Huyghens to maneuver through the defense. KSV Surdac's Guilian Van Aghten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save KSV Surdac from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes in the game, Renaut de la Croix fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Guilian Van Aghten having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in KSV Surdac's zone, Renaut de la Croix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guilian Van Aghten came out of the goal and Renaut de la Croix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renzo Sens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adolphe Reijnders fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KSV Surdac's protests and gave Adolphe Reijnders a yellow card for diving instead. Adolphe Reijnders hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes in the game, Renaut de la Croix dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, KSV Surdac's goal looked a bit too open when Qwinten De Vleeschauwere came free, but Guilian Van Aghten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Renaut de la Croix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 played minutes KSV Surdac got a freekick which was hit by Adolphe Reijnders. RSC anderlecht's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pascal Lambert in the 89th minute. After taking down the ball on RSC anderlecht's corner Pascal Lambert fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Guilian Van Aghten quite easily take care of the ball. If Renaut de la Croix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
