Club Gozee's Loui De Middeleer got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joery Ingelborgh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx having to interfere. The referee ignored BVC ROMY pils's protests and gave Brent Kesters a yellow card for diving instead. Brent Kesters kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Joery Ingelborgh fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, BVC ROMY pils's Gregoire Sielens got a free kick in the 26th minute. Joery Ingelborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joery Ingelborgh in the 42nd minute of play. Siebe Nys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serge Lannoye made a kick off. Joery Ingelborgh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Loui De Middeleer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Qwinten Van Caels made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Siebe Nys sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joery Ingelborgh in the 66th minute of play forced BVC ROMY pils's goalkeeper Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joery Ingelborgh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx having to interfere. Siebe Nys blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qwinten Van Caels having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Club Gozee's goalkeeper Qwinten Van Caels had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serge Lannoye. Qwinten Van Caels made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Siebe Nys sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 76 minutes, Siebe Nys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BVC ROMY pils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siebe Nys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serge Lannoye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qwinten Van Caels having to interfere. Loui De Middeleer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx having to interfere. In the 89th minute Siebe Nys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qwinten Van Caels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BVC ROMY pils's Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loui De Middeleer in the 94th minute of play. Sergio De Kerpel charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio De Kerpel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BVC ROMY pils booed when Club Gozee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio De Kerpel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, BVC ROMY pils's Tijs Owerckx tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
