After a defensive mix-up in BVC ROMY pils's zone, Goffrey Van Der Straeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx came out of the goal and Goffrey Van Der Straeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joris Andriesens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siebe Nys in the 10th minute of the match. When Siebe Nys came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the BVC ROMY pils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siebe Nys couldn't finish the play. BVC ROMY pils's Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save BVC ROMY pils from getting a goal against them. Joris Andriesens came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by BVC ROMY pils's Siebe Nys. But to his dismay, Siebe Nys quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Serge Lannoye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siebe Nys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joris Andriesens having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Axell vrolix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Siebe Nys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axell vrolix to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored BVC ROMY pils's protests and gave Gregoire Sielens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, BVC ROMY pils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregoire Sielens to maneuver through the defense. Goffrey Van Der Straeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BVC ROMY pils's Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goffrey Van Der Straeten in the 95th minute of play. Axell vrolix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathias-Alexander Bellinkx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The BVC ROMY pils supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BVC ROMY pils would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
