Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to KV Lille getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Seppe Verstappen hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the game, Norbert Vanden Berghe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wandering Rocks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KV Lille the free kick. Karel Van Gorp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axell Ronsman went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, KV Lille's goal looked a bit too open when Axell Ronsman came free, but Karel Van Gorp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Manaers in the 17th minute of play forced Wandering Rocks's goalkeeper Franky De Meur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francois Van den Panhuijsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karel Van Gorp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Franky De Meur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Manaers, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Francois Van den Panhuijsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Manaers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Franky De Meur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axell Ronsman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axell Ronsman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benoit Impens hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Timmy de Pelsmakere blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franky De Meur having to make a save. In the 61st minute Michael Manaers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franky De Meur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Michael Manaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Timmy de Pelsmakere managed to get in a good position for a shot. KV Lille's supporters rose to their feet, but Timmy de Pelsmakere was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franky De Meur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. KV Lille's Michael Manaers got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Wandering Rocks's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy de Pelsmakere came free, but Franky De Meur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes KV Lille got a freekick which was hit by Cornelis Geijselinx. Michael Manaers kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Francois Van den Panhuijsen struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Karel Van Gorp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wandering Rocks. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Manaers in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franky De Meur saved Wandering Rocks from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Wandering Rocks's zone, Timmy de Pelsmakere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franky De Meur came out of the goal and Timmy de Pelsmakere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francois Van den Panhuijsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Karel Van Gorp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 played minutes KV Lille got a freekick which was hit by Cornelis Geijselinx. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benoit Impens during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, one of KV Lille:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KV Lille. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wandering Rocks eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
