With his leg Jacobus Winnepennincx managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Lampernisse's Camiel Decock fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to FC HOROZ getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jarno Van Leempten hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Camiel Decock notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC HOROZ's Jacobus Winnepennincx. Jacobus Winnepennincx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Lampernisse's Nicolas Roscams got a free kick in the 14th minute. The supporters of FC HOROZ booed when Lampernisse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvain Rijmenants didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Philippe Verheijt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricky Klopterop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jacobus Winnepennincx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Hendrik-Jan Coopmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe Verheijt in the 96th minute of play forced Lampernisse's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Azamfirei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Lampernisse players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
