With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommie Callaerts in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karel Van Gorp saved KV Lille from getting behind. The supporters of FC Orso booed when KV Lille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominic Van Der Eyde didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Orso's Andre Switten managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Brain Wouqier in the 40 minute of the game. Nic Van haeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Karel Van Gorp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sylvan Huyberechts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timmy de Pelsmakere went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tommie Callaerts was the one to do the kick off. If Nic Van haeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When FC Orso's Tommie Callaerts in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sylvan Huyberechts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Manaers in the 64th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, KV Lille's goalkeeper Karel Van Gorp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dries Poelmans. A very good chance. 80 minutes in the game, Dries Poelmans fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Karel Van Gorp having to interfere. KV Lille's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Orso the free kick.
