Elias Huijghens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aime Huysmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Huijghens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aime Huysmans in the 24th minute of the match. Roderik Saelens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Regis Scheppers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joeri De Langhe having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Regis Scheppers managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Green Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Regis Scheppers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joeri De Langhe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Regis Scheppers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
