Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Gooners's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Douglas Schockaert scored to the left of an out of position Rafael Justus, making the score, 1-0. Rafael Justus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marnix Pelsers in the 10th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marnix Pelsers in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Justus saved Gooners from getting behind. Regis Scheppers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Justus having to make a save. After having played for 18 minutes, Marnix Pelsers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Green Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marnix Pelsers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute of the match Tommi Lache sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Justus skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot 22 in the game by Regis Scheppers from a close distance when the talented Rafael Justus managed to make a qualified save. Gooners's players were relieved. Regis Scheppers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rafael Justus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Regis Scheppers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Rafael Justus made a huge save. In the 38th minute, The Green Tigers's Douglas Schockaert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marnix Pelsers in the 42nd minute of play forced Gooners's goalkeeper Rafael Justus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Marnix Pelsers in the 47th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marnix Pelsers made a kick off. Marnix Pelsers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rafael Justus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Regis Scheppers put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rafael Justus. Rafael Justus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Regis Scheppers in the 81st minute of the match. If Regis Scheppers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gooners's Rafael Justus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marnix Pelsers in the 87th minute of play. Regis Scheppers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, Gooners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willem-Jan Smolders to maneuver through the defense. Gooners's Rafael Justus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marnix Pelsers in the 92nd minute of play.
