Robbin Beetens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joeri De Langhe having to interfere. Aime Huysmans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Nicolaas Van Haght made a huge save. Joeri De Langhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbin Beetens in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Axel Eli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alain Carpenter to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Robbin Beetens notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SIVASTURK's Joeri De Langhe. Joeri De Langhe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roderik Saelens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
