Spectators: 7645 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Patrick Heirpoel kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Patrick Heirpoel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignace De Wortelaer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in KVS branst's zone, Izak De Vaddere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignace De Wortelaer came out of the goal and Izak De Vaddere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mathias Van Achtens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Izak De Vaddere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When KVS branst's Hugo Billen in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KV Oosterzele's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th match minute, KV Oosterzele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Van Impe to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes KV Oosterzele got a freekick which was hit by Hector Van Houdtvinck. If Mathias Van Achtens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, KV Oosterzele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Van Impe to maneuver through the defense. Mathias Van Achtens scored 0-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Englebert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrik Englebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Van Achtens in the 47th minute of play. After the first half KVS branst were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Billen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Hugo Billen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KV Oosterzele's Patrik Englebert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Mathias Van Achtens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, KVS branst's Patrik Englebert threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugo Billen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Patrik Englebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Billen in the 68th minute of the match. KVS branst's Hugo Billen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 71st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 76th minute, KV Oosterzele's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hugo Billen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. KV Oosterzele's Patrik Englebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Billen in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Heirpoel in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignace De Wortelaer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute, Mathias Van Achtens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KVS branst fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KVS branst had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
