Kurt Van Impe hit a great ball. Izak De Vaddere struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Tijs Soetemans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KV Oosterzele. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ken Goos during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vaux FC's Ken Goos got a free kick in the 7th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Patrick Heirpoel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KV Oosterzele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Heirpoel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Izak De Vaddere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tijs Soetemans having to interfere. Tijs Soetemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Heirpoel in the 13th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Vaux FC got a freekick which was hit by Bass Van Bombergen. The audience was convinced that Patrick Heirpoel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tijs Soetemans was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Izak De Vaddere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Tijs Soetemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Izak De Vaddere notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vaux FC's Tijs Soetemans. Tijs Soetemans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd match minute, KV Oosterzele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izak De Vaddere to maneuver through the defense. Hector Van Houdtvinck scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tijs Soetemans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Kurt Van Impe notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Vaux FC's Tijs Soetemans. Tijs Soetemans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tijs Soetemans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izak De Vaddere in the 44th minute of the match. Patrik Englebert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joris Van Deinze in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Patrick Heirpoel made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, one of Vaux FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vaux FC. 56 minutes into the match, Vaux FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Heirpoel came free, but Tijs Soetemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Izak De Vaddere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vaux FC's goalkeeper Tijs Soetemans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrick Heirpoel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Tijs Soetemans managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when KV Oosterzele's Izak De Vaddere fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joris Van Deinze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Englebert having to interfere. A collision led to KV Oosterzele getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Franky Schrevens hit a great ball. Patrick Heirpoel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Tijs Soetemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Vaux FC got a freekick which was hit by Hans Leerbels. Tijs Soetemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Heirpoel, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. KV Oosterzele's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
