An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Maurus Degens got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Achilles den Ronden made a kick off. Beveren's Boudewijn de Pelsmacker got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Guy Van Nel fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nickopolis's protests and gave Guy Van Nel a yellow card for diving instead. Guy Van Nel kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Sander De Roeck might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sean Volders. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sander De Roeck ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Nickopolis's Rajmond Maerschalk got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Sander De Roeck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tommas Van der Weijden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurus Degens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dany De Poorter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
