Floris Sterckmans's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Bass Peeters skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 15 minutes, Jesse Uijterhoven mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sint-Laureins and the Invictus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bass Peeters was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Floris Sterckmans capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Floris Sterckmans really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 28th match minute, Sint-Laureins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesse Uijterhoven to maneuver through the defense. In the 29thth minute of the game Floris Sterckmans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sint-Laureins's Bass Peeters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Floris Sterckmans in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bass Peeters saved Sint-Laureins from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Albert Van hoegaerde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Floris Sterckmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Floris Sterckmans in the 48th minute of play forced Sint-Laureins's goalkeeper Bass Peeters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bass Peeters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Floris Sterckmans in the 52nd minute of the match. Loui Sanders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sint-Laureins's Waud Lambert got a free kick in the 54th minute. Bass Peeters stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Floris Sterckmans's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Gabriel Vermeesch hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Godfried Vloebergh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cederique Worteler. Invictus FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Invictus FC's Lauren Weijnants got a free kick in the 86th minute. Sint-Laureins's Godfried Vloebergh shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cederique Worteler but with some difficulty. The supporters of Invictus FC booed when Sint-Laureins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfried Vloebergh didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthew De Vriendt during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Piet de Wolf placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 92 minutes, Piet de Wolf made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side.
