Stephen Van Deyck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had been going on for 28 minutes Piet de Wolf shot a great shot from long distance. Club Loncin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Floris Sterckmans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Floris Sterckmans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diederik Tobbackers was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Floris Sterckmans in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diederik Tobbackers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Invictus FC played a much better game than Club Loncin and deserved their victory. The Club Loncin players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
