In the 3rd match minute, Club Loncin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephen Van Deyck to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominick Cremers in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diederik Tobbackers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Meetjesland fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Meetjesland's Dominick Cremers looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mike Huijsmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Heijligem in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Dominick Cremers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diederik Tobbackers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominick Cremers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Owerckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Huijsmans having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Meetjesland got a freekick which was hit by Diederick Rouckeloos. When Jonas Owerckx came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Club Loncin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Owerckx couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Hubert Heijligem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Meetjesland's Mike Huijsmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephen Van Deyck in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Meetjesland's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Owerckx came free, but Mike Huijsmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Hubert Heijligem took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Mike Huijsmans to make any attempt to save it. Diederick Hairpoel hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Leopold Van Aerschot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dominick Cremers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meetjesland had won after a very even match.
