Olivier Tobbackers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Blomme in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Bruges fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthoon De Boeck to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Bruges fc's goal looked a bit too open when Raymond Blomme came free, but Olivier Tobbackers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoine De nuijter in the 14th minute of play forced Fauvillers's goalkeeper Diederiek Van Achter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ief Lombaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Diederiek Van Achter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anthoon De Boeck came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Bruges fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthoon De Boeck couldn't finish the play. Jacq Wolfdoncx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olivier Tobbackers having to interfere. Jan Bouman kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Fauvillers's Jan Feys broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Bruges fc getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jan Bouman hit a great ball. Fauvillers's Raymond Blomme was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 43rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the match had gone on for 49 minutes, Raymond Blomme took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Olivier Tobbackers to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Diederiek Van Achter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ief Lombaert in the 55th minute. The audience was convinced that Raymond Blomme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olivier Tobbackers was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Raymond Blomme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olivier Tobbackers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Blomme in the 62nd minute of play. Fauvillers's Diederiek Van Achter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoine De nuijter in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Jan Feys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antoine De nuijter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diederiek Van Achter having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fauvillers's Jannis Antheunis got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ief Lombaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diederiek Van Achter having to interfere. Ief Lombaert struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Diederiek Van Achter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bruges fc. Ief Lombaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diederiek Van Achter having to interfere. Fauvillers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bruges fc for a fine match.
