A collision led to SC Schellebelle getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Qwinten Theys hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Tran Naets took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Sebbe Jacobs to make any attempt to save it. Gert-Jan Van Deyck struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Sebbe Jacobs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KAA Werbeek. Christof Gheysen kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Tran Naets came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the KAA Werbeek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tran Naets couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Adam Van Beneden made a precise shot to the right of Sebbe Jacobs. SC Schellebelle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. KAA Werbeek were furious when Marten Van Achteren was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 25 minutes into the game, one of KAA Werbeek:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 28 minutes into the match, Ivo Lefevre notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of KAA Werbeek's Joannes Vrolijcx. Joannes Vrolijcx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. KAA Werbeek's Joannes Vrolijcx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qwinten Theys in the 32nd minute of play. Joannes Vrolijcx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qwinten Theys in the 34th minute of play. Anton Grootaerts charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Grootaerts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anton Grootaerts hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With a little luck, SC Schellebelle's Sebbe Jacobs got control of the ball when Gert-Jan Van Deyck tried to sneak it across the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, SC Schellebelle's Richmond Everts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joannes Vrolijcx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gert-Jan Van Deyck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gert-Jan Van Deyck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebbe Jacobs having to interfere. Gert-Jan Van Deyck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sebbe Jacobs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebbe Jacobs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert-Jan Van Deyck in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th play minute Qwinten Theys came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joannes Vrolijcx. 3-2. Sebbe Jacobs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert-Jan Van Deyck, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Gert-Jan Van Deyck managed to get in a good position for a shot. KAA Werbeek's supporters rose to their feet, but Gert-Jan Van Deyck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebbe Jacobs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Schellebelle's Sebbe Jacobs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert-Jan Van Deyck in the 73rd minute of play. Joannes Vrolijcx made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Qwinten Theys sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert-Jan Van Deyck in the 77th minute of play forced SC Schellebelle's goalkeeper Sebbe Jacobs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebbe Jacobs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert-Jan Van Deyck, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Regis Libreghts hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Qwinten Theys got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gert-Jan Van Deyck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebbe Jacobs having to interfere. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Schellebelle's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Octaaf Skouten was slow to take the kick. During this time KAA Werbeek's players had a chance to rest. Jasper Beekman's late challenge caught a KAA Werbeek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jasper Beekman helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Schellebelle! Octaaf Skouten walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. KAA Werbeek walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
