Spectators: 4500 (Terracing: 3000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tim-Jan Wirinckx made the kick off which started today's match. Levi De Munck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefaan Van den Driesch having to make a save. After some careless play in the KV Chiro defense, Yoeri Van der Perren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefaan Van den Driesch. The KV Chiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefaan Van den Driesch should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in KFC Galifort fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! After 19 played minutes KFC Galifort got a freekick which was hit by Remi Van Hoeijveldt. Stefaan Van den Driesch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levi De Munck, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With his leg Bert Hemeleers managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when KV Chiro's Jan-Pieter Tijs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Yoeri Van der Perren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Pieter Tijs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Pieter Tijs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bert Hemeleers having to interfere. When Tim-Jan Wirinckx came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the KV Chiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim-Jan Wirinckx couldn't finish the play. Bert Hemeleers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Pieter Tijs in the 47th minute.

KFC Galifort's Bert Hemeleers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Hemberg in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Dany-Adams Sellekaerts lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Stefaan Van den Driesch. When Levi De Munck fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Galifort's protests and gave Levi De Munck a yellow card for diving instead. Levi De Munck hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Tim-Jan Wirinckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Pieter Tijs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bert Hemeleers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim-Jan Wirinckx in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match KV Chiro got a corner. KFC Galifort's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wart de Neys ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in KV Chiro's zone, Levi De Munck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefaan Van den Driesch came out of the goal and Levi De Munck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Yoeri Van der Perren managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Galifort's supporters rose to their feet, but Yoeri Van der Perren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefaan Van den Driesch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tim-Jan Wirinckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bert Hemeleers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim-Jan Wirinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bert Hemeleers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Pieter Tijs in the 95th minute of play. The KFC Galifort supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KFC Galifort would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
