Werner Van der Voert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Van Eynde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Elens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Van den Sande having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Peperhol's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Elens came free, but Sebastian Van den Sande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yelle Valckx kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Peperhol's Yelle Valckx got his second yellow card of the match in the 28th minute. The referee ordered Yelle Valckx off the ground. A collision led to Peperhol getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Yelle Valckx hit a great ball. Gabriel Elens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Van den Sande having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Tristan Godet made the kick off in the second half. Tristan Godet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tristan Godet helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Tristan Godet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peperhol's supporters rose to their feet, but Tristan Godet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Werner Van der Voert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Putte's goalkeeper Werner Van der Voert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Peperhol's zone, Yannik Caes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Van den Sande came out of the goal and Yannik Caes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Putte's Klaas Vlimmens got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
