Spectators: 7434 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 50) Christiaan Van de Poel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Raf Sloeve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KAA Pepingen's Laurenz Berrewouts got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. KAA Pepingen's Lander Van Mellaert shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Glen Van Kelf but with some difficulty. If Jannes Brabant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Christiaan Van de Poel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leffe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in KAA Pepingen's zone, Steve Van Meensel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roel Voorhof came out of the goal and Steve Van Meensel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laurenz Berrewouts in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Glen Van Kelf, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Waut Depauw came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the KAA Pepingen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waut Depauw couldn't finish the play. If Christiaan Van de Poel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jannes Brabant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Roel Voorhof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lander Van Mellaert kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Jannes Brabant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Waut Depauw made the kick off in the second half. Luke Rompen hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Alan De Custer hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Maxim-Alexander Pannekoek kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Glen Van Kelf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurenz Berrewouts, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Roel Voorhof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiaan Van de Poel, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jannes Brabant got free with Roel Voorhof in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roel Voorhof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiaan Van de Poel in the 75th minute of play. If Christiaan Van de Poel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KAA Pepingen's goalkeeper Roel Voorhof, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. KAA Pepingen's Laurenz Berrewouts got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Laurenz Berrewouts came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the KAA Pepingen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurenz Berrewouts couldn't finish the play. After having played for 89 minutes, Waut Depauw managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KAA Pepingen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waut Depauw was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roel Voorhof came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Leffe's Jannes Brabant. But to his dismay, Jannes Brabant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.
